The game’s afoot ….
So, first major obstacles have been negotiated – yep, the rigours of 4 hours on public transport … and to prepare Becca for 2 months of my inane chatter the Cornish tourist board kindly lent us some passenger who was able to speak at incessant length to anyone within or without earshot about her family, favourite resorts, varicose veins etc ad nauseum. We can’t wait for 17 solitary miles tomorrow, a blessed relief.
Good to have a few farewell glasses of rehydration fluid in the Crown last night and I do strongly suspect that pretty much every prospective End-to-Ender (make your own joke at your leisure) clears out their fridge grateful to departure – sooooo cunning of yours unruly to have much steak, jacket potato and lashings of a cheeky red to hand.
wifi permitting there will be an update after The Very First Day Proper – we found a signpost to help us … and close and detailed examination of the map reveals that we need to keep the wet stuff on the left.

So tell us whether you both survived the first 16 miles with back packs…or did Becca have to step in and take your back pack off you Paul – giggle..Have you both managed to share a delightful ice bath as yet ! get those bodies of yours boosted for the 2nd day of your 1133 mile challenge…(hopefully no nasty blisters starting to reveal themselves)
Wishing you both a good nights rest – all the best for tomorrow..onwards and upwards – oh joy!
Love, Jen & Dee xx
