I have been advised that it is not a good idea to promote details regarding the walk on any social media as it advertises an empty house to would be or existing burglars. Therefore I won’t be setting up a page on JustGiving or any equivalent.

However I do wish to raise money for the homeless. I have been fortunate to have been associated with charitable work in this area and it rarely receives money funds as it falls in the public consciousness behind other causes, all of which are worthy of course.

Whilst I will be out in the open for 2 months I will, almost certainly, have the benefit of a warm bed and a roof over my head every night. There are far too many that are not in position to enjoy such little luxuries and all monies raised will go to them.
