The new one: IC2C (2019)

Having stumbled all the way up Britain …. and a few years ago having done the (English) Coast to Coast it seemed a natural progression / unnatural regression to take the next step(s) and undertake the Irish Coast to Coast (IC2C). Stout research has been and will continue to be conducted …

A Bit of a Stroll (2016)

Paul and Becca are attempting to walk the length of Britain from Land’s End to John O’Groats (LEJOG) in one continuous attempt.  It is expected to take about two months to cover the approximately 1200 miles.

So why are they doing it?

For one thing they both enjoy walking (although that may change) and have between them already completed a number of major walks both in the UK and overseas. Also they hope to raise money for the homeless. This walk will serve as a reminder how lucky most of us are to have a roof over our heads most of the time. There is one Charity in particular that Paul has been heavily involved with – that of Threshold in Swindon. If you are interested see the Charity tab above or link here www.thl.org.uk.

The route

For all the detail see the Route tab above. The thinking is mostly to use National Trails (some prefer to walk along roads pushing their rucksack in a sawn-off shopping trolley – that’s not us). We will essentially take South West Coast Path, Offa’s Dyke, Pennine Way, Southern Uplands Way, West Highland Way, Great Glen … and then somehow get to the end!

If you want to follow their progress then see the Follow us tab above.  We will also regularly post updates on the blog page too – promise not to talk about the rain too much, or how often we’ve washed our clothes.

Of course there is an opportunity to donate to charity and you’ll see the link above to the details around this along with our views on promoting this activity.

However much you dip into this website we do hope you enjoy hearing about a bit of a stroll that we are taking.

Kind regards and Love

Paul and Becca

Update
