That Peaches and Herb song
ah, yes, cast your mind back to ’78…
today was largely about getting along and past Loch Lomond. It is a beautiful Loch … here’s the view from the top end “… sugar, this one is it…”
i also found a walking companion who goes at the same pace, is interested in the same things and never tires of hearing about Prog classics, pic follows
And makes a good dinner too.
“we both are so excited…”
Ah yes, the beauty and the brains of the team is re-joining me this evening despite ScotRail’s attempts at derailing our plans. I think I’ve done all I should. A half-bottle of Scotland’s almost finest bubbly cooling in the bathroom sink; some freshly plucked gorse strewn across the bed and all my laundry that needs immediate attention is very very neatly piled up. (Ok, only joking on that last point, it doesn’t need immediate attention, anytime before going to bed will suffice).
“Reunited and it feels so good…”
milestones of the day: wandering into (and out of) Argyll and Bute…. and 900 miles up! ?
