Interim update
2 things really : one, Strava went on the blink today, honest it wasn’t operator error – I’ve got a witness who will testify to that, so whilst it’s right we made it to just short of Westward Ho! (One of the southwest’s unholy trinity of tacky merchandising emporia, along with Tintagel and Lands End (they seem to think by and large the apostrophe is unnecessary and grammatically they have a point)) we did complete 55000 steps and get to Destination Barnstaple – so worry ye not on that score.
so we bid a semi-moist farewell to the SWCP (166 miles, about 390,000 steps, ascents totalling about the same as Everest in aggregate) as LEJOG heads east to The Moor (wouldn’t go out there this time of year)… Under 1000 miles now…

we do have a bit of an emerging M*A*S*H / “er, Houston….” / “come in #9 … Ah, #6 are you in trouble?” situation…
Right now we need our food, a drink, some discussion …

Will that be dining with the FARM ANIMALS tomorrow night and sleeping in the shed on bales of lovely HAY hey?
