Hannah (and her sisters)

Thought I could change it up and include a cinematic reference. Possibly your ears only pricked up that morning re. Hurricane Hannah when its arrival on UK shores was forecast for tomorrow, maybe missing the bit about “southwestern Ireland will bear the brunt of it today”. I can assure that it’s indeed here and building nicely (as I recline on my chaise longue)

Luckily the locals in a great pub last night had forewarned me of the impending doom and I was able to arrange early start/early finish with BnBs so as to avoid yesterday’s  no-fun and games.. Talking of pubs seem to be running into lots more Gooners (including one who had (drinking) stories to tell of him and Tony Adams) … well i guess misery loves company.

After Fermoy’s restaurants without beer Mallow offered up a kebab house … without lamb.

Although not too sure about tonight’s drinking parlour of choice

I think the pub’s name is half correct.

I’ve found myself near the small settlement of Bweeng which for no good reason I find quite funny. Welease Woger…. or Wodewick… Naughtius Maximus .. or if not a Python fan “Bweeng me the head of Alfredo Garcia”. That’s what 2 weeks walking can do to you

another 25 miler tomorrow …. hopefully not all of it into a headwind
